LABEL: Insignia Records TRACKS: 12 TOTAL LENGTH: 00:47:48 FORMAT: 320 kbps MP3 CATEGORIES: Devotional Music GENRE: Pop, Latin, Inspirational Tribal Latin rhythms and a plethora of small ethnic Latin guitars permeate a spiritually uplifting bilingual infusion of Western and world music vocals. The debut album from vocalist, composer and producer KC Porter features material as diverse as one might expect from the producer whose career spans over 3 decades of music for artists like Carlos Santana, Ozomatli, Ricky Martin, & more. "This album reflects what is in my heart and deep in my soul, it's only a taste of what I have done and what I would like to continue doing. It is Latin infused of course, my passion for Brazilian and Flamenco music just get's started on Ruiseñor, then eases into Infinite, a song that needed to be born to honor the simplicity of the words of Abdu'l-Bahá, "Love is unlimited, boundless, infinite". There are prayers and there are new songs written with JB Eckl, my dear collaborator on many songs for Santana, of which I include "Canto", an actual demo for Santana that was to feature Carlos Vives, that will now live with my vocals. Is is a song dedicated to the indigenous peoples of the world, the forgotten voices, a song of the struggle, of the earth, that the world may hear, 'Canto pa' que'l mundo pueda escuchar.' It's where I've been for a while and i'm proud to share with you this spiritual musical journey."
