PIONEER WINDS is a 30 year work in progress. A pioneer to Chile in the 1980's, the Ten Women of Shiraz was composed as a tribute to the 10 women who were hung simply because they were Baha'i, the youngest being Mona, only 16 years old. The work became a ballet.

While playing in a local orchestra, I had a chance to try new orchestral works out which is from where Pioneer Winds came and Hollow Reed.

The 22 minute work of Words of Wisdom is a Tablet of Baha'u'llah. Full orchestra, it gives the Words of Wisdom through music and the spoken word.

All lyrics are from the Holy Text of Baha'u'llah, 'Abdu'l-Baha and the Bab.
All music was composed by Rebecca Johnston-Garvin.
Vocals done by Rebecca Johnston-Garvin, Cheryl Kizer, and Carrie Kurianski.
Spoken word by Brian Taraz.
Musical arranging was done by Bill Kilpatrick with the exception of Pioneer Winds, Hollow Reed and the Unity Prayer done by Rebecca Johnston-Garvin.
Sequencing, engineering and recording was done by Bill Patrick at Quarter Note Studio in Carlsbad, CA
