In April 2016 my mother, who had been recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, shared with me one of the most beautiful gifts I've received... this song. She shared with me the hopeful lyrics and basic joyful melody to this song about death in the lively style of the Colombian cumbia. Her wish was for me to finish the song and share it with the world so people could have a different perspective towards death; that it shouldn't always be sad... and instead a celebration of life. On November 2016, my mother took flight to the Kingdom. Please share this song to spread a message of joy and love.
