What is a ZIP file? How do I open a ZIP file? Why can't the file I downloaded go into iTunes?

ZIP files are a compressed format that puts all the music into a folder and compacts it to make file transfers faster and easier. Our albums, audio books and episodic video series are all offered in ZIP files for download.

Once you download the ZIP file, you will need to extract it. On a MAC computer you simply double click and the file will be extracted and you will be left with a folder containing your media. On a PC computer you will need to 'Extract' the file before you can enjoy your media. Each version of windows is different, but they essentially all function the same way.

Right click on .zip file that you want to unzip (uncompress), and click on "Extract All" in context menu.

In "Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders" dialog, enter or browse folder path where you want files to be extracted. Check "Show extracted files when complete" checkbox to open extracted folder after zip extraction is complete.rnClick on "Extract" button to start the extraction.

You will be left with a folder containing your downloaded media.

How do I place an Order?

Purchasing is easy. Follow these simple steps: (Don't let the quantity of steps fool you... we were just trying to be thorough!)

  1. Find the product you are interested in
  2. Choose the format you want (Instant Download of Complete Album, Physical CD, Individual track MP3 Download, M4B Download, etc)
  3. Make sure to select only the options you want.
  4. Select the quantity you want
  5. Click the 'Add This To My Cart' button
  6. You will be redirected to your cart page where you will see what you have just added. You can either select 'Go To Checkout' or just keep shopping
  7. When you are ready to checkout click the little shopping cart icon at the top right side of the page
  8. Review your cart contents and click the 'Go To Checkout' button.
  9. Fill out your information (if this is your first purchase) or login (if you are a repeat customer) NOTE: Signing up for an account is different than signing up for the newsletter. Please enter all information it asks for to create a new account.
  10. Enter any discount coupons or gift certificates you want to use for your order
  11. Choose your payment method (We use PayPal to process Credit Cards) and click the 'Confirm The Order' button.
  12. Thats it! You will see your completed order and receive an email confirming your order!

Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. Because of the way our system works for tracking orders as well as supplying downloads every customer needs to create an account.

Is Buying On-Line Safe?

Yes. But like anything, its not perfect. We do our best to ensure the highest standards of security so your transactions are safe. We never store any credit card info at our office or on our site.. in fact we never see your CC info except for the last 4 digits! PayPal is the world leader in e-commerce payment processing and they help us with that part of the transaction. Because PayPal takes security so seriously, many of the worlds largest retailers trust them with their online transactions... so we know we are in good company! We also have active software which scans for, blocks and disables any attempt to hack our site 24/7.

What's The Coupon Codes Policy?

We occasionally send out coupons to our customers or via our Facebook or Twitter pages. If you have one, use it! You will be prompted to enter any coupon codes you have while checking out.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order

If you have ordered physical CDs you can cancel or change your order up until the time that we take them to the post office to ship. Send us an email as soon as you know you need to change or cancel and we will try our best to assist you and get your order adjusted.

Digital downloads that HAVE NOT BEEN DOWNLOADED can be cancelled within 2 weeks of your order. Simply send us an email stating that you wish to cancel (please include your order number) and we will cancel your order and issue you a refund through your original payment method.

How Can I Exchange or Return a Product?

Exchanges are available for any purchase which arrives to you damaged. Just contact us through the Contact Form and we will get a replacement out to you.

Because many of our CDs are manufactured at the time you order them or ordered from the manufacturer to fulfill your specific order we are not able to accept returns. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. But we will do our absolute best to do good on any purchase you make.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes! We ship anywhere the US Post Office will ship to. Delivery times can vary greatly depending where you are ordering from... but we do our best to ship orders everywhere in the world. (We haven't failed yet!)

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

All shipments are made via ground from the United States Post Office system. If you have circumstances which require use of an alternate shipping method, please send us an email before making your purchase and we will get you a custom quote for your order which factors in the difference in price.

How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?

Domestic and Canadian orders should arrive within 1-2 weeks from the order date. Sometimes sooner, but we cannot guarantee expedited service unless you contact us first and we arrange a custom quote for expedited shipping.rnrnInternational orders take longer and will arrive anywhere between 2-4 weeks because of ship times and customs. What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept several different payment methods to meet our customers needs. They are:

  • Check (You mail it in and we release the order once it has cleared into our account)
  • PayPal
  • Credit Card Online (Processed through PayPal... so select 'PayPal' as your method of choice and you can use your CC without signing up for a PayPal account)
  • Credit Card Over The Phone (Place your order and then call us during our normal business hours (Shown on our contact page) and we can process your CC over the phone.

Do you sell physical CDs as well as downloads?

Yes. We sell physical CDs of many of our products. If you look at a particular product page and it gives the option to 'Purchase Physical CD' then that is a title which is available in CD format. If you only notice individual track names or instant downloads available then it is a product which we don't stock as a physical CD.

In addition to purchasing a physical CD, you can choose to purchase the 'Physical CD & Instant Download' of the same product for just $1 more than the physical CD by itself! (choose 'CD + Instant Download' when selecting the format you want.) That is the best of both worlds! Get your physical copy in the mail but enjoy the digital copy right away (as soon as it downloads)

NOTE: The physical CD and Download combination are meant only for the purchaser and are not allowed to be divided. (i.e. You are not allowed to buy the set + instant download and give the download to someone else while keeping the CD Set for yourself.)

What formats are your downloads in?

We provide instant audio downloads in several formats:

High Resolution MP3 (320 kbps) - All of our music titles and audio books are available in high resolution MP3 files. This format is a standard across all audio players and is the most compatible.

FOR SOME AUDIO BOOK TITLES we offer some additional formats:

M4B - Our best format! You get crystal-clear CD quality audio which is bookmarkable (i.e. will start back up where you left off) In addition, each M4B file contains the actual text of the audio book! If you are on a device which supports this file format (newish iPhone, iPad, iPod, and many other devices) you can click the cover image for each chapter and the text will appear. Scroll with your finger to follow along.

M4B (Low Rez) - this file type is for countries with limited or slow internet connections these lower resolution files will transfer faster.. it does include the benefits of the high resolution M4B file... but the audio quality is significantly less

MP3 - These are high resolution MP3 files. MP3 has become a universal standard format which can be handled by almost every digital audio player. This is the file of choice if you want universal compatibility and are not sure if your player will handle M4B files. Unfortunately our MP3s do not support bookmarking or including the text of the audio book.

MP3 (Low Rez) - this file type is for countries with limited or slow internet connections these lower resolution files will transfer faster... it is identical to the high resolution MP3 file except the audio quality is significantly less

What is an M4B file? What are the benefits? Will it work with my player?

An M4B file is an amazing file type for audio books. Here are some of its features:

  • Crystal-clear CD quality audio
  • Bookmarkable (i.e. The file will start playing where you left off... even if you decided to listen to something else!)
  • Our M4B files contains the actual text of the audio book! If you are on a device which supports this file format (newish iPhone, iPad, iPod, and many other devices) you can click the cover image for each chapter and the text will appear. Scroll with your finger to follow along.

All of our video downloads are in either .mov, .mp4, or .m4v formats. These are virtually universally compatible standard formats usable by most modern computers, tablets and phones.

I clicked 'Download' on the site... Where are my files?

I purchased a download, but I can't find where to download my music from. Please help!

You can access your downloads by going to your account page. On the upper right hand corner of the site is a small "Login" icon.. click that and login. Once you login you will see a "my account" icon has also appeared at the upper right hand corner of the page. Click that and you will have access to your downloads and invoices. How do I download onto my iPhone / iPad / iPod?

It is pretty easy to get your audio onto your iOS devices. The details are below:

DIRECT DOWNLOADING TO YOUR iOS DEVICE?

Unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow direct downloading into iTunes on any iOS device from anything but their own iTunes store.. It is a limitation they have imposed. The best way to get it on your iOS devices iTunes library is to follow the steps below. Alternatively, if a computer is not available there is a temporary workaround listed after that.

GETTING YOUR MUSIC INTO ITUNES ON AN IOS DEVICE (iPad, iPhone, iPod)

THE CORRECT WAY:
There is only one way to get content purchased from a 3rd party site directly into iTunes and that is to download with your computer and sync your iOS device. Here are the steps:

  1. On a computer, visit your account page ( My Account ) and look for the files you wish to download.
  2. Click the "Download" button and they will download into your browsers default download folder. (usually called “Downloads” or "My Downloads")
  3. When you go to your downloads folder, look for a file with the name of your album or audio book. The file will end with .ZIP. Double click on the .ZIP file to extract the file. Once extracted you will see a folder with the same name which has your audio files in it.
  4. Drag that folder into iTunes and they will be added to your library (M4Bs will appear under the 'Audio Book' Category)
  5. Sync your iOS device
  6. Voila! Your audio is now on your computer AND your iOS device! Enjoy!

THE CREATIVE WORKAROUND:
If a computer is not available to you to sync to at the moment there is a workaround which will allow you to listen to your audio book by bypassing iTunes on your iOS device. It requires a little effort, but is quite painless once you get going. Here are the steps:

  1. Download 'GoodReader PDF Editor & Viewer' (Paid App) or iZip (Free App but less quality) from the app store
  2. Go to your account page (My Account)
  3. Look for the audio book you want to download and click the "Download" button beside it.
  4. It will appear as though nothing is happening.. but in reality the .ZIP file is downloading to your iOS Safari browser. You will see a little spinning progress indicator next to your carrier or Wi-Fi signal indicator. That is how you know it is working.
  5. After it finishes downloading, you will see this page:
  6. Choose "Open in..." and select the GoodReader or iZip app.
  7. Then you will see these pages and you can select the zip file and extract it. Both GoodReader and iZip have an audio player built in. GoodReaders audio player and organization is better.
  8. That should work. Sorry it is not more elegant, but Apple wont allow it! We are die hard user of iOS as well and this has been a challenge. When you have a chance, download them through a computer and sync them with iTunes (you have 3 attempts to download each purchase).. in the meantime.. this will get you listening!

How do I get the music or audio books into iTunes? (On My Computer)

I added the files to iTunes by I can't find them! Help?

Many times the culprit for this problem is that the audio files have not yet manually ben added to iTunes. (or did so unsuccessfully) The audio files downloaded to your downloads folder and you need to drag the files over to iTunes. For a detailed step by step explanation see our earlier FAQ answer to the question "How do I download onto my iPhone / iPad / iPod?"

Alternatively, if you are experiencing this challenge with audio books, it may be because our audio books end up in the 'Audio Books' category automatically (rather than the standard 'Music' category) Click in the upper left side of iTunes where it says 'Music' and scroll down to 'Audio Books'. There it is!

I try to drag the music into iTunes but I get a red circle with a line through it! What gives!?

That means that you have not yet extracted the .zip file yet. Windows lets you look inside the zip file even if you haven't extracted it yet.

I downloaded the M4B audio books files... How can I read the text while I listen to the audio book?

Our M4B file format contains the text of the audio book built right in! If you click on the cover of the audio book as you listen on a device which supports the function (most iOS devices as well as many others) the text will appear and you can read along simply scrolling with your fingers.

Can I make copies of the music or audio book I purchased and give them to our community / my friends?

Unfortunately not. Each purchase of downloads that you make is for use by a single individual. You can use your downloads on all the devices you own which are under your control.

We support the creation of exceptional Baha'i inspired media... if you copy and share the files with your friends, community, etc. you are making it harder for us and all the artists to make their creations sustainable... and if they are not sustainable, they won't be able to create more exceptional media!

NOTE: If your community bookstore or institution needs multiple copies or is interested in re-selling the media to your community, send us an email via our contact page and we will work with you to offer wholesale pricing.

Windows Media Player Problems? No Sound From Video on Windows?
