Lisa Janti & Bob Alcivar

Lisa worked for many years as a film actress in Hollywood under the name Lisa Montell. Her filmography is available on her website. She switched careers to become director of a large Child Development Centers Head Start Program in Arizona, after which she was asked to join the executive staff of Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley. She later served as an arts consultant to the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Dept. and directed arts programs for inner city youth. Lisa has continued working in the arts by joining with award winning composer/arranger Bob Alcivar in producing music/spoken word recordings of the Bahá'í Writings. A new recording on healing will soon be released. She has written a very contemporary introductory book on the Faith titled Bahá'í: The New Vision, and will soon be releasing a second edition of same. She is now working on a new book. Lisa lives in the Los Angeles area near her daughter Shireen and granddaughter Tatiana.
