Sarah PercevalSarah is a professional storyteller who specializes in telling sacred stories. A lively and sensitive performer her storytelling has been described as: "A heartfelt experience, captivating and magical." - Steve Nobel, Alternatives at St James' Currently Sarah writes, records and produces audio storytelling cds on Bahá'í and Bahá'í inspired themes. She also performs live, often with a variety of musicians, and sometimes with other storytellers of different faiths. Sarah particularly enjoys being a part of 'Sea of Stories' the first interfaith storytelling troupe in the UK who perform to diverse audiences in religious buildings and sacred spaces. Sarah has an extensive background as an actress and puppeteer and still performs as an actress as well as a storyteller. Her one-woman plays on Tahirih, Martha Root and Lady Blomfield have toured the UK, and also been presented in Italy and Israel. Sarah co-ordinates the Society for Storytelling's special interest group in faith and religion in the UK, and maintains a strong interest in a variety of interfaith organizations. Her client list includes: The Tony Blair Faith Foundation, The Dialogue Society, The Interfaith Council for Wales, The Whirling Dervishes of Konya, The Scottish Storytelling Centre, Network of Islamic Artists, Koruso Interfaith Choir, The Anis Foundation, St Ethelburgas' Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, Alternatives at St James', and BBC London's 'Inspirit' programme.
