Ann-Sofie Wensbo

Ann-Sofie Wensbo is a musician, singer/songwriter and producer from Sweden.

Having grown up in a home where music was highly appreciated, Ann-Sofie discovered her musical interest and talent at an early age. As a 10-year old she picked up the guitar and a year later she wrote and performed her first song. At 17 she found the Faith and soon after started putting the Writings to music. Her intoned compositions have been loved and sung around the world long before their official release with the album “Illumine My Inner Being” in 2006.

Ann-Sofie’s musical hallmark is her calm and groovy acoustic guitar playing, her melodious singing and her harmonic vocal arrangements. With her latest release, the original song “The Gate of God” (released for the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb), she is offering the possibility for individuals and communities to use the song e.g. for local performances, as she has made an instrumental track available as well. Other than writing and performing her own music, currently working on an album of personal songs, Ann-Sofie has a vast experience as a singer for weddings and funerals, as a choir conductor for her own local pop choir, as a music teacher and a vocal coach. She has also been the musician of the Swedish Playback Theatre company “Teater X” since 2006, enacting/“playing back” real life stories through improvised theater and music.
