Giti

Persian-born, multilingual vocalist, Giti with her mystical, intoxicating sounds bring to life the musical traditions of her homeland and blend them with the passionate flamenco of Spain, where she lived for 10 years. Singing in Arabic, Spanish, Farsi and English, she hopes to convey the spirit of oneness contained in the Baha'i Writings. Giti's soul-penetrating voice calls the listener to cross continents and cultures even as they take the journey within. She has worked with guitarist/song writer Eric Harper (Bella Canto) and producer JB Eckl (Santana, Ozomatli). "My passion", are Giti's own words, "is to sing in a way that touches people's souls".
